6. The Cubs SUPPOSEDLY Got rid of their curse

By electrocuting "That Damn Ball" (the one that that poor guy interfered with) till it exploded. We'll see, SI Picked them as the favorite to win the World Series, But the SI Cover Jinx/Curse is the most lethal in all sports (and thats what gets my vote!!!)

I'm a White Sox fan and it's not really a curse when fans of the team don't even acknowledge it exists. Our players just gambled - we didn't trade anyone away or piss off a guy with a goat, far more egregious crimes than mere gambling. :)
