Spankme fans will regret the day they boohooed about deserving to win the World Series in 2001 because of SEP-11.

By the time they win another World Series half the teams in MLB will have won 27 WS championships and the other half will have won more with the Red Sox having won twice as many...

congrats on last night's win . . . but that's all it is, one win . . . come crunch time, the Curse of the Bambino will once again prevail, and Boston's refrain will once again be "Wait 'til next year" . . . as it has every year since, what, 1918? . . .
