I am sick and tired of Dems misspelling "atheist."
Actually I am sick and tired of anybody, regardless of political affiliation or religious creed or noncreed, spelling atheist "athiest."

Remember: a-the-ist, like the-ist with a- in front of it.

Thank you for your consideration.

1. Yep, and remember that the "the" is the root of the word, "theology".
Hence, a-the-ist.

11. Hehe. Nope!
"A" is, of course, a prefix meaning "not".

9. I love heathen (in the south it's pronouced "Heathern")
It's root comes from the same root as heather, which is related to overgrown land, and it just signifies country folk, probably people that whomever ruled the urban areas had not been able to convert yet.

I think it is a pretty word with unearned negative undertones, like barbarian, which originally meant foreigner.
