8. Drew Carey? Cleveland's own? If he votes for *
the entire state should disown him, just on the basis of record job loss.

I don't hate him at all. I just think he's a no-talent hack who had the gall to try and host a show like Whose Line is it Anyway and totally f'ed it up. :)

He came to Pittsburgh for a Steelers/Browns game a few years back and if my memory serves, sat with Franco Harris and Co.

39. AGREED!
In all caps, even. He's a Repug, a Browns fan, and a goddamn unfunny hack. I wouldn't mind him so much if he wouldn't stamp the word "CLEVELAND" all over everything he touched, but he does, and I was already sick of living in a punchline well before his no-talent ass befouled the airwaves.

Also, I used to have big eyeglasses like his, and when people used to say "Oh, you look like Buddy Holly" (Or Elvis Costello) I didn't mind it so much, but when he became well-known... you can probably see where I'm going with this. I got new glasses.

13. I'm afraid I dislike Drew Carey intensely
Edited on Fri Sep-17-04 08:44 AM by socialdemocrat1981
I never liked his show and hearing about his political views made me like him even less. But each to his or her own

Kelsey Grammar is someone whose acting I have always enjoyed -both in "Cheers" and in "Frasier" so I guess he'd come close to meeting this criteria

I liked Bruce Willis in "The Sixth Sense" and he also has been keeping a low profile during this present Administration and indeed has (I think) come out against some of the policies that it has bene pursuing. So I guess he'd meet this criteria as well

20. NONE. Unless they vote against Bush. They are welcome to be Republican
because true Republicans are GOOD for democracy.

Bush loyalists are NOT Republicans, they are Royalists, subjected to loyalty oaths. Kings of days gone by forced subjects to loyalty oaths, didn't they?

28. Yeah--reads the Weekly Standard, National Review, etc.
But like you say, he kept it out of MST (there are, however, tons of snipes at Bush/Reagan/etc.), and he is indisputably talented, so I don't mind it so much.

Edited on Fri Sep-17-04 10:02 AM by Carson
I watch movies, listen to music and read books to be entertained, not to wonder and worry what political affiliation the performers are.

I won't "Dixie Chick" any actor/singer. If I dislike them, it's because they suck professionally.

Flame away.
