Me and my house survived Ivan.
I ended up on the "good" western side of the eye as it passed a few miles to the east of here in central Bama. 5" rain, power out shortly and some small trees down. Nothing to speak of compared to the horrific damage in other parts.

Anyone heard from Trof? I know he lives on the coast where there was mandatory evacuation and serious damage. Hope other DUers made it through okay too.

2. You got that right.
It's pretty panicy to watch 60 mph winds blowing big, and I mean big damn trees sideways near your home!

I feel really lucky. Maybe I should drive to a casino. :)
