Kinda boring, to me at least. In terms of first episodes, I still love the very first season's where they're all scrambling on the boat to grab as many items as they can before going overboard..

1. It was interesting
The ceremony at the beggining was a unique way to start the season. I was surprised thought that Brook was kicked off. Its to early to start kicking off the physically strongest people. Not the worst first episode, and not the best.

7. I think it was smart of the "somewhat" older guys
A jock herd was already forming and would have picked them off one-by-one.

And the ceremony added an interesting touch.

Anyway that's what I gathered from the few minutes I caught in passing. I hate that show. ;-)

4. What is the DEAL (SPOILER)
with men being upset because they were beat by a bunch of "girls"? Why do they take that as somehow emasculating? Are we girls somehow not supposed to be able to do anything? I don't get that, never have. Also why do they say it like that? It reminds me of the way I hear the word liberal said. I do NOT get it. I am a very small but very strong woman and could kick my husbands ass in many ways. Now, the only reason I can say that is because he is not here. If he were then he would be so pissed. Why is that? I am really asking, I really do not get it, I am not trying to start something here.

5. Yeah..
I don't know. I certainly hope it's not reflective of all American men, 'cause then I'd be ashamed.

If this group continues to act in this manner, I'll continue to root for the women. Women are smarter anyway.. look at how they vote..

6. HA!
I don't by any means think these particular women are smarter. It looks like they are going into crying mode next week like they did not know what this would be like? Oh well. I agree. When I see this stuff I just hate men in general but I know so many who are so wonderful that I find it hard to believe that most are like that. Who knows.

8. I stopped watching Survivor after the 3rd one
It just jumped the shark for me. Although my sister absolutely loves it, so I occasionally catch bits and pieces of the newer ones.

10. One question
I was visiting my parents in Des Moines, and read that there is a black guy from there on Survivor. I say "black guy" only because the DM paper referred to him as that. Did he survive tonight???

13. We watched it......
was ok for a first episode. I'm Scout in a pool at work, makes watching the show a little more fun when there's bragging rights and money involved. 5.00 entry fee, with payouts of 5.00 for the first one voted off, the runner up gets 35.00 and the winner gets 50.00!!
