Probably so. Though I was told that by a girl who says that she has hope even though she is always depressed. I have tried to cheer her up a number of times.

But, now this girl used to say that she wanted to make me uncynical. Then she started talking about how hard it was to find a job and that she does not have friends. I have offered her comfort and confidence boosters. She seemed to take them well. She seems hurt by what people did to her. I expressed bitterness about my experiences with women and things that have happened to me the last couple of years. Now she is talking about having a misunderstanding with this guy that she is talking to online that she likes. And feels shitty over that. I ask her if she wants to meet up sometime. She tells me that she does not know. Because I seem really bitter and at least she has hope.

Don't let it get you down, it sounds like you have really been trying to be a good person with this girl. I am sorry that you have had bad experiences with women.

up relationships too--and I have had some people treat ME really bad too. Last guy was so horrible I can't even talk about it.

But you know, eventually you find the right person. And if you are with the right person you are going to be really happy. It is really a question of playing the numbers. You have to get to know lots of people until you find one who works for you.

Anyhow, life gets us all down sometimes. Just don't let it be permanent--and you will do fine.
