9. I'm looking forward to GTA: San Andreas on PC...

I've pretty much given up on console gaming. PC gives you, generally speaking, better graphics, better sound, better control interface (I'll take keyboard + mouse over PS2 or XBox controller any day for most of the games I play; plus I have a joystick). Plus on PC you get better online play and modifiability..I'm going to go play Vice City multiplayer in a bit, here...can you do that on PS2?

The only reason I can see for the console market still existing is that Sony and Microsoft have managed to get exclusive development deals of titles that aren't and won't be available on PC...and even so, it seems like there can't be more than five or ten years of life left int he game console market.

i love war/first player fighting games (medal of honor, gta, max payne, etc.) so this one looks real good.

haven't heard anything about GTA: san andreas...anyone have any info on it?

15. GTA:SA info:

Instead of being set in one city, it's set in an entire state with three cities, each of which is about as big as Vice City was. There's Los Santos (the LA clone), San Fierro (San Francisco), and Las Venturra (Vegas). The cities are connected by countryside, desert, and a HUGE mountain.

There are several smaller towns and villages located between the bigger cities.

You can ride bicycles.

Your character has to exercise and eat to stay in shape, and the body model changes as a result. So if you eat nothing but fast food and don't exercise, your character gets fat and people make fun of you.

Jacking cars will be much more difficult, since people react more realistically to a crazy madman trying to steal their car.

The combat system has been completely overhauled, so now it's like it was in "Manhunt". That's a good thing.

You can rob houses, and use stealth to keep from getting caught.
