Which photoshop should I buy?

I see a download on the web for $44.00. Is that a fair price?

It was the Photoshop 5 Full

I know nothing about Photoshop.
I want to learn to just have fun.
Do I need an upgrade?

5. I agree. At least 6
There was a huge leap from 5 to 6. After that, they hjust fine tuned it. And made it more System X friendly. What are you planning doing with it?

7. If you just want to have fun,
you might want to try Paint Shop Pro. I bought PSP 7 on eBay for $13. It won't do everything Photo Shop will but almost.
