I'm watching "Wattstax" for the first time right now....
About twenty minutes in...looks awesome. Staples singers in a limo....Richard Pryor....sweet.

Anyone else seen it?

2. It's a documentary from 1972 of a festival that took place...

In LA. Music acts and commentary on the black politics of the time.

It's where Jesse Jackson's "I AM SOMEBODY!" speech is from. Lots of great musical acts too.

6. I saw his speech in the beginning..about 45 mins. in right now..
Watching the Bar-Kays. WHO is that singer?!? He's incredible!

11. Keep an eye out for Issac, the bartender from Love Boat
they do several interviews about interracial dating, and he is featured in one.
