This is the only "reality" show that interests me and I just don't know why, but I'll be watching as always.

4. Yes
as dumb as it is. I started watching the first one with my boys and we would guess and ponder and talk about it. It was fun for us. Now that they are away at school they ask me to record it so they can see it when they come home so we still watch it. It is the only one of the reality shows I have ever watched and I still don't know why I watch it other than the tie in with my boys but I will be here tonight recording it for them to watch with me at a later time.

I prefer The Apprentice.

7. Total guilty pleasure
but it's damn entertaining!

There was an interesting story on Salon the other day about how reality shows in many ways are surpassing the crap that passes for comedies and dramas these days. The comedies aren't funny, and many of the dramas like the West Wing and ER are past their prime.

Here's the article (sadly, you have to get the day pass):

I'm embarrassed to admit that my three must watch shows are now Survivor, The Apprentice, and The Amazing Race.

9. Yay! Bread and circuses for everyone!
More mindless diversions to occupy the masses, while our country goes down that dark road to facism. Yipee!

Turn off your TV, that shit will rot your brain.
