Mint the foster dog (rescued greyhound)
We picked up the foster dog last night -- she is a real sweetie. She's small, about 26" at the shoulder, weighs in around 50-55lbs. She is black with white on her chest, feet and tip of tail.

She did try to chase the cats and fortunately she had her muzzle on

I know some people would think this cruel - but until she gets use to the idea that cats are not food or game, she will have to wear it. She can eat and drink through the muzzle. Shouldn't have to wear it for more than another day or two as this morning she pretty much ignored the furry felines padding across the floor -- and she did try to engage on of the cats in play.

We did try putting her in her crate for the night, but there was lots of whining and crying -- after a 1/2hr we let her out and she settled down for the night on a pillow next to our bed.

The rescue organization is having a big 'adoption' day this weekend, while at the time of this post - Mint is still available, the organization is busy reviewing and interviewing prospective families -- so there is a fairly good chance we may get a call that Mint has found a forever home.

2. They are gorgeous dogs
the 'hunt' instinct takes a month or so to dissipate. Keep her tethered to one of you for that amt of time.

They are wonderful, loving pets!!
