Rodney Dangerfield is in a coma
http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/#3

>>American comedian Rodney Dangerfield has been in a coma for the past few weeks, after undergoing heart surgery last month. The 82-year-old was thought to be making a good recovery from a heart-valve operation - recent reports even told how he had received visits from celebrity pals including Jim Carrey, Jay Leno, Adam Sandler and Roseanne. But Dangerfield's wife Joan confesses he slipped into a coma shortly after surgery. The comic has however made a breakthrough and is now able to breathe for himself and has shown signs of awareness - with his wife and doctors hopeful he will regain consciousness soon. Joan says, "My husband slipped into a light coma a couple of weeks ago while recovering from his heart surgery. His overall condition, however, remains stable. After recent visits from his family and close friends, Rodney is starting to show signs of awareness and we are all hopeful that he will regain full consciousness soon." <<

I love Rodney. We may lose him soon.

Let him be in our prayers and get well wishes.

1. sad
I hope he pulls through.

To this day, I haven't laughed as hard as the night I saw him in concert.

9. He used to go to the Sports Connection in West Hollywood for massages..
...can't count the number of times he was walking upstairs with only a towel--hanging in his hand and not wrapped around him!

Absolutely no ass.

15. I love Rodney
One of my all time favorite movies is "Easy Money".

I have seen Rodney in person twice and both shows made me laugh so hard I made several trips to the bathroom.

I hope that he recovers soon but his age has me concerned.

18. Prayers to a truly funny man;
we need him now more than ever.

Comas are survivable, I survived a pretty deep one and I'm here a bazillion years later.

Love ya, guy!

20. I remember Rodney from the Ed Sullivan days.
One of a kind. Ed must have liked him a lot because he had Rodney on his show often. He reminds me of my late brother-in-law, looked like him and talked like him.

Here's a link to a site with a few of Rodney's one-liners.

So I propose the epitaph:

Rodney DangerField

Well Respected
