I Ratted Out My Repuke Neighbors to the City
They are renters, and have been parking their vehicles in the yard for several months because there are too many people living there (students). It's bugged me for awhile because it makes the neighborhood look trashy. Anyway, a couple weeks ago they added two Bush/Cheney signs, and since the yard is full of cars, they put the signs in the right-of-way, which is illegal. I called about the cars last week, and the city has since contacted the owner and will fine him $750 if the problem with the cars is not fixed in 30 days. I mentioned the signs today, and the manager of the city building department said it is indeed illegal to put them there, and he was going to go pull them up! Hehehe. Stupid freepers.

3. And YOU'RE working within the LAW
instead of doing like the stupid freeper/thugs who go around ripping up signs and vandalizing.

So give yourself a pat on the back!!!!!

4. Cool!
I hope the landlord figures out that they've got too many people there and throws 'em out! You deserve better neighbors.

Nice job! :toast: :toast:

7. The city sent him a registered letter
With a picture of the vehicle(s) in the yard.
It really made my day when the city said they would pull up the signs. The little brownshirts that live there are NOT going to be happy.

6. The county road commission should remove any signs from the right of way
just let them know...

8. Find out what the zoning is for the house...
They might have limits on how many non-related can live in the house.

9. I think that's the angle the city is looking into
They have too many cars, because there are too many people in the house. This is a heavily democratic neighborhood, so I think I'll have a lot of happy neighbors when 1)they get their cars out of the yard and 2)They have to move their signs.

10. You think they might have put the signs up because they
thought the city or neighbors would leave them alone?

I agree with you on what you did; I don't like it when people park too many cars around like that, it tends to trash everything up. My brother's kid collects cars and he has 5 beaters on the driveway. My brother has to park on the street because the kid has the garage filled with auto parts. His house looks like hell because of those beaters on eevry square inch of the driveway.
