4. *sigh*
I hate most covers. I heard someone cover 'Slip it in' once.

It was sad!

7. les claypool
and primus did EXCELLENT covers. better than the original most of the time. Making Plans for Nigel (XTC). Have a Cigar (Pink Floyd). Wonderful stuff. They completely reinvent the songs, which is what makes a good cover.

The Afghan Whigs also did good covers. They didn't reinvent them so much as just make them come alive in a true homage to the music kind of way. Anyone who covers both Prince and the Supremes with a straight face and as much energy as he (Greg Dulli) is okay in my book. Better for shows than studio albums though

And when I saw Henry Rollins do Black Flag songs, he ended with some Ramones covers...he needn't ever record those, but it was a good show.

9. also
i'd love to hear justin timberlake cover *Ace of Spades* by Motorhead just so he could secure himself a place in rockandroll HELL. Or so Lemmy would kick his ass.

5. Huh. Dumb name for an album.
Well, as long as it's not electronica of any sort, I'm okay with it.
