My brother's family could have died ...
from carbon monoxide poisoning! My sister-in-law has been feeling dizzy lately, so she went to the doctor. He told her (good doctor) to check for a gas leak at home. She called the gas company, they sent somebody out and found a gas leak AND that there were HIGH levels of carbon monoxide in their house! It's been warm around here lately, so I guess they've had their windows and doors open or it could have been so much worse. They have two small children -- a baby and a two year old. I'm just freaking out about this. What a close call!!!

Anyway, thanks for listening. I'm just shaking thinking about it.

3. A dad from a family here in CT
died last Winter from Carbon monoxide posioning and the wife and kids were seriously ill from it. They lived in an older house and because they had the older windows they had them all sealed with that plastic stuff they sell to cover windows in the Winter on these older windows. That kept any fresh air from coming into the house. They had all complained of feeling flu like symptoms for weeks before it happened.

4. That is one of my phobias still
can't sleep in a closed room. When I was about 4, my family went on a camping trip. It started to rain after nightfall and my father brought to grill into the camper thinking it was out (I guess). It wasn't and thank god my sister woke up barfing or we would have all died.

5. Awareness is the key!
ChavezSpeakstheTruth posted a good link. It's just something people need to be aware of. Yikes.
