Anybody see the movie Baraka ?- now thats a movie worth seeing 50 times

One of the best movies I've ever seen. I also love the "Qatsi" trillogy -- especialy "Koyanisqatsi", the first of the three.

8. Didn't care for it.

Saw it at a campus screening. Very uncomfortable chair, bad screen, wasn't stoned enough...

I'd probably have to see it again in my comfy chair and a fatter bowl to make a more qualified judgement though.

9. there was a listener supported radio station in Seattle

called KRAB a long time, but in the 70s, an ethnomusicologist called Robert Garfias used to have a show and he played the Tak-Tak piece. Often.
It stuck with me 30 years or so, and i was SO happy to find it on Baraka... it is a fine fine piece of film-making...
