Favorite long-haul slow-but-steady CELEBRITY
Celebrities who just seem to always be around but never seen to reach the apex. Sometimes they change their act or field:

Some suggestions:

Martin Mull-He just keeps showing up. Saw him last night on Reno 911 first season finale.

Busta Rhymes
LL Cool J -both of these guys go back and forth from music to movies

Anyone else?

1. Nancy Travis.
Beautiful, sexy and a pretty good actress. Started out in commercials and has made a few not-too-bad movies. Never a break-out star like she should have been. Shame.

2. Jim Broadbent, Imelda Staunton, Maggie Smith, Shirley Henderson
If you don't know who they are, you're not staying for the credits.

On this one board I hang out at we call those types of celebrities "Hey! It's That Guy!"s. They are usually venerable character actors who most people would recognize on sight, but probably wouldn't know their names offhand.

I'm partial to William H. Macy myself. He's a really good actor.

10. Yeah he is a leading man but I think it fits
His A&E Biography is very interesting. He checked out for a while (not hippee checking out just deciding not to play) and then back in he comes.
