A New Freeper Band! Attila and the Huns
check them out at www.aath.net
This is the lyrics to their new hit song: The hateful Lies of Michael Moore.

Hateful Lies
By Jeff O'Donnell
Performed by Attila and the Huns
(c) Copyright 2004 Muntjac Records

Our soldiers are in harm's way, fighting for us every day
they fight to keep our enemies at bay
We freed a country from a bad man,we're tryin to get the upper hand
on people who will kill us all if they can
And as they try to being the mission to a close,
along comes America's Tokyo Rose

(chorus)
Michael Moore, Michael Moore, you're a media whore
Michael Moore, Michael Moore, evil down to the core
Michael Moore, Michael Moore, I can't take any more
of the hateful lies of Michael Moore.

On 9/11 4 darts, broke a country's proud heart
tried their best to tear us all apart
But we're led by very strong men who came up with a bold plan
to never let this happen again
and as they guard against the next attack
here comes America's Monday Morning Quarterback

(repeat chorus)

I wonder whats the reason, for this kind of treason
I guess on truth its open season
he thinks he made a big splash raking in the cold cash
making up all kinds of trash
Trades his honor for a big payday
Does he really hate the USA?

(repeat chorus)

Right up there with "The Battle Hymn Of Lt. WIlliam Calley"
I am not making this up - I have played this record and held it in my hand.

7. Hunter S. Thompson mentions that
in one of his books. I thought it was a drug induced joke.

I used to work in a small-town record store, and the owner would turn up all kinds of weird shit in estate & salvage sales. He'd turn up with truckloads of shit, and then put it out on the shelves.

The first verse, as best I can recall:

My name is William Calley, I'm a soldier of this land
I have fought to keep my honor and to gain the upper hand
But they've painted me a villian, they have stamped me with a brand
As we go marching on

The best part was the voice-over, where the singer/narrator talks about how "We returned that enemy fire with everything we had". Very goose-bump inducing, if you get my drift.

Apart from the message, which stinks, it's not too pathetic, for a bunch of kids....and hey - they know not what they do, obviously.

9. actually the music isn't half bad
it is just the lyrics and the singing that make it absurd.

10. Are you for real?
I thought the music was even more embarrasingly bad than the lyrics.
