2. Grandpa!

He was hilarious and stole every scene.

I went to Al Lewis' restaurant a few times and saw him a couple of times. Real nice guy, and the place had great food. Love his progressive politics too!

6. Yes. Al Lewis ran for mayor(?) as a Green.

He also is the originator of the slogan, "Fuck the FCC!"

12. yup, I am sad to hear it, too.

He wasn't exactly a spring chicken during his time on "the Munsters" and that was in the 60's.

I can also remember seeing him on tv as one of the celebrity supporters of John Gotti when Gotti was on trial.
