we saw him last year, and boy, what a polished, professional comedian he is. Just brilliant.

We saw Lewis Black last weekend, and that was great, too. Got his autograph on two of his CD's.

I live near a few really great venues for musical acts and comedians. My bf and my regular friends all love to see live shows, so we tend to hit a lot of them.

Mrs. zbdent and I had the distinct (if not expensive) pleasure of seeing Robin Williams live.

Yes, it was after 9/11, but he was NOT the Robin Williams that has been debunked as the originator of that dumbfuck article. Yes, the only tie to that article is his line: "The symbol of America is no longer the Statue of Liberty and the words 'Give us your poor, your ...'. Now it's the Statue of Liberty with a baseball bat saying 'You want a piece of me???'"

RW skewered Bush in every version of that show I've seen. He has Blair "giving a speech" in the way that the Brits always seem to do: elegant and intelligent. And Bush is over at the other podium going "Shoot, I can't even spell that!". Look for it on his DVD.

Years ago, on Carson's last night for guests, he skewered Dan Quayle, doing DQ as "the Rain Man".

So don't take the shit about Robin Williams being a closet Right Winger.
