Poll question: Would you wear NOTHING if it were socially acceptable?
If public nudity laws were repealed and workplace dress requirements were rolled back, would YOU give up clothing and let it all swing free?

2. My body is not a wonderland.
Edited on Thu Sep-23-04 05:41 PM by tjdee
I have stretchmarks on my stomach and sagging boobies.
And I'm not yet 30.

I'll never get married!!! Wearing clothes is my gift of kindness to all people everywhere.

And, my mother is visiting tomorrow.
Ugh.

34. Meet the wonderful world of stretchmark & sagging boob fetishists
I'm sure there are people into either, and both. Whatever exists on the face of god's green earth, there is someone who finds it irresistibly sexy. And there's at least one website devoted to it.

I would go naked, weather permitting. And if people screamed at the sight of me and clawed at their eyes and screamed, "I'm blind! I'm blind!"......

Good.

6. nudity is great on a summer night, on a warm rainy day,
or if you're going to be indoors, but i'm too sun phobic to walk around naked most days. And I certainly wouldn't brave a new york winter in the buff

21. I don't exactly have a body worthy of a Rodin sculpture.
Actually, I don't even have a body worthy of a "Bear" Gay porno magazine.

To tell the truth, I don't have a body worthy of a medical diagram explaining obesity.

Check that - I don't have the body worthy of a scary picture.

and I would definitely need footwear.

If it's socially acceptable, why should only people who fit the current fashion ideal be allowed to be naked?

29. One other reason I couldn't:
In North Dakota it gets to -40 in January. And I can tell you from experience that two layers of sweaters and a heavy jacket sometimes don't even work well enough in those situations. Not exactly the best time to be walking around naked as a jaybird.

30. Actually I think it'd be great
if we all went around in our underwear. That way there's not TOTAL nudity (I just really don't need to see everyone's groceries, ya know?) BUT we still have a more realistic idea of human bodies.

I think it's too easy for us to think we are the only ones who look so horrid underneath our clothing. It'd be so cool to see that ALMOST EVERYONE looks kinda weird with only undies on! (Bra and panties for the women! Bra optional, I guess.)

When my daughter isn't here, Mr. Moonbeam and I have been known to be nudists inside our home, with ALL blinds drawn shut!

35. Let's face it...
... if you are a man all that swinging junk needs a harness. Around the house is one thing but when I sit on a wooden bench I don't want to worry about splinters in a sensitive area :)

37. It's too bad so many people have negative body images
Sometimes I say that I am ugly and unattractive, but I was very comfortable doing my college's senior streak (stroll). One thing that I learned from that experience is that nudity is a beautiful thing regardless of the shape of ones body. Although I wouldn't be attracted to everyone who I saw naked, I wouldn't be disgusted either. We should all be proud of our bodies.
