Remember these guys? I used to love that show! It was cool cause it was always on at night. My sister and I used to get popcorn and watch it in my parents room.

ahh...warm memories.

1. I'm too old.
We had Uncle Bobby, Puppet People (aka "GWB Prototypes") and Storybook Theatre. There was also another kids show with two sets of male-female siblings, one pair of which was the cuter of the two, but I can't remember the name.

Why does most Canadian TV suck? Except for CBC documentaries and SCTV, it's all bad. (Okay, maybe DeGrassi High in a cheesey way.) And for some reason, you can always tell in the first five seconds of a show if it's a Canadian production.

2. What About the X-Files?
It was originally filmed in Vancouver. When it moved to LA, that was the end of the show.

3. But it was still an American production.
I'm thinking shows like Cold Squad, Beachcombers, The Trouble With Tracy, The Starlost, Pardon My French, DaVinci's Inquest...

May I building name-drop? Until last year I lived one block over from the building they used for Scully's apartment. Beautiful location.

5. I'll take Beachcombers over Baywatch any day...
But both Canadian and American television pales compared to British TV.
