I live on the "North Shore". Ask me anything.
We have North Shore, Lost, Hawaii and a pilot for The WB - Rocky Point filming here. Next week the Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA Pageant rolls into town and surfing season is coming up (pun intended).

Aloha.

1. Coolio
I'm on the "North Shore" of Maui right now.

How do you feel about the shows? Do you feel the accurately portray what Hawaii is?

3. They did get the fact that it rains here right.
It rains often, sometimes intensely. But, I haven't seen a rainbow on TV yet. And, they don't show us sweating.

Not the North Shore, though. I was stuck in Honolulu.

Welcome! :hi:

The North Shore is a different world than "town".

8. Have you seen any actors from the shows?
Not that they're that famous, as far as I know?

9. Yes I have.
They are all over the place. I've mainly seen the North Shore people. They have to eat somewhere and there is only one road here so it is easy to spot the production crews and check out the filming if you are inclined.

Jason Mamoa is the only one who's real name I know. I also saw Tessa from North Shore up close and the camera oddly does not do her justice. She's prettier in person.

And of course Laird wants the same things you do. (I know these things even though he lives on the North Shore of Maui).

15. Iz is one of the world's most popular musicians RIGHT NOW.
He has been near the top of the charts for the past few years since Hollywood has "discovered" his music.

Chicken skin stuff.

19. Ha! Very small on the Long Island Sound.
However, the south shore is only a 30 minute drive. Waves are good, but we don't have the cool blue waters like you.
