Catholic Football Team Won't Play With Girls - Will Forfeit Game Instead

WHITE CITY, Kan. -- St. Mary's Academy won't play against a team with a girl, so the private Catholic high school is forfeiting a football game.

The northeast Kansas school was supposed to play White City High Friday night.

But White City has a girl on the squad, freshman guard Kara Dowell.

So the guys of St. Mary's won't be suiting up.

Officials of the school aren't commenting.

Kara can't believe they're refusing to play against a girl.

She told the Lawrence Journal-World, "Girls have a right to do anything that a guy can do."

football team and it was a Catholic School. It was the 7th and 8th grade team, not HS but this is just one dumb ass school.
