Poll question: Gay DUers: Do You Want To Have Children?

To all my fellow gay DUers out there, how many of you want to have children?

Whenever this comes up for me and I tell people I want to have children someday my gay friends don't agree. They either say that they hate kids, or that 'god made me gay and that means he didn't want me to have kids!' or some other comment.

HELL NO! I helped raise four younger brothers and sisters. If I neveer see another dirty diaper, it'll be far too soon.

Dogs are more loving, more trustworthy, and they beg for food, not stupid designer clothes.

Not in a million years.

I'm all for gay couples being able to adopt. But not for me. Crying babies work my nerves in no time flat.

when I was your age, Nation, I was sure I *DID* want children.

Then I saw my friends and family start having them and now I'm thankful every day I don't have 'em.

As Sam Austin said, "homosexuality is God's way of insuring that the truly gifted aren't burdened by children." :)

Seriously though, he does want kids, but he feels resigned to the fact that it won't happen...

We may adopt a child from a less fortunate place. However, I am afraid not many countries would allow even their starving abandoned children to a successful, American gay couple.

I love kids.

At one point I thought I wanted to have kids, but not anymore. One of my best friends (she's gay too) really regrets that she didn't have kids. We thought about having kids for a while.

I don't regret not having kids.

I likes m' cats just fine thanky very much.

8. no.. I borrow nieces and nephews when I'm feeling the need

other than that, I'm just fine alone. Pets are like my own children.
