"Between Us," been thinking a lot about him this week, it being the first anniversary of his death and all. :sniff:

I'll be ordering couple of his DVDs as soon as I get some money.

2. One of the most underrated performers in the history of rock. Period.
Like anyone else, he had some gems and he had some crap. He took some hits for being "derivative," but SO WHAT. The Beatles and the Stones were as derivative as can be at the beginnings of their respective careers. Everybody starts somewhere, and it's usually by dipping their bucket in someone else's well.

However, the gems REALLY were gems. The version of "Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley" on "Maybe It's Live"...dangerous stuff.



Hey, Lowell George thought enough of him to step in and produce some of his early stuff. For me, that gives him cred all by itself. I appreciated Palmer while he was here and I miss him now that he's gone.

Sneakin' Sally, Secrets and Clues were my favorite albums.
