Hurricane Jeanne is coming my way!

I live in Hurricane Alley and what a summer this has been for Florida! I staying put this time with all the pets together. Like most folks it's too expensive and difficult to leave.

So I'm trying to keep my sense of humor alive...and found this which made me laugh hardy, Jack Parker's Hurricane Cartoons.I wanted to share with all of you because I know you Floridians can relate to most of them. I'll let you all know how I make out with Jeanne...hope this brings some stress release to my Florida Friends!

6. I flew down to Tampa last Tuesday.

And they had at least two dozen wheel chairs lined up in the ramp for all the retirees returning after Jeanne was done. I was among the youngest on the plane, not counting the crew.

8. The standing joke 'round here is:

yeah,we had hurricane (Ivan, Charley,Frances,Jeanne) outside the house, and hurricane (children's name, spouses name,in laws etc) inside the house.

even tho i live on the gulf coast, and have been lucky this year, it aint no fun worring about what the next storm is gonna do.

12. KG...I'm exhausted...

this has been draining...all the cleaning up. Waiting on the insurance, need new roof and hope I don't lose the rest of it through Jeanne's visit.

No power is no fun either, wears you down but we can't let it keep us there. We just keep going, clean up and make the best of it.

I'm going to hunker down and pray we get out of this in one piece.

My thoughts are for you too...one projection was straight across to the other side...they really can't say where because they don't know, Jeanne has been very unpredictable.
