The NSMA Appreciation Thread

She's out to dinner tonight and won't be back for a few hours. I want to go to sleep tonight knowing that she will come home to some much deserved appreciation.

So I'll start. She's brilliant and kind and loving and the best thing that ever happened to me. She inspires me in every imaginable way, and I am so grateful to have her in my life.

I adore her.

And if you guys let this thing drop like a lead balloon, I'll never forgive you. :)

40. My journey into the cult of NSMA.

It started so innocently. She and I were both here since the beginning, and although I read her stuff and liked it, I didn't have any particularly warm and special feelings about her. She was just another one of the many great DUers of the day. :toast:

Then came the day when she left. And Forrest Gump started a sort-of "DU Held Hostage" thing, wherein he reminded us daily of the fact that we were no longer graced with her presence. (At least, I remember him doing something like that!) :cry:

So bunnyj sat up and took notice. NSMA? Who was this wonderful person, her loss lamented by all? Why did she leave us? Would she ever come back? And just what sorts of things took place on the hood of her car? :silly:

I began to pay attention, and hope for her return. When that great day came, I made a point to notice her. That's when her greatness was revealed to me, in all its many glorious facets. I fell in cyber-love (platonic, of course!) with her brains, eloquence, sense of humor, and general superb-ness. I became a fan on the spot, and never once looked back. :headbang:

Well, that's my story. We're lucky to have Teena here. And you are not so bad yourself, Misunderestimator! You two are very cute together, I wish you many years of happiness! :yourock:
