Any MXC fans here?
One question, why are Japanese game shows so fucked up?

1. I dunno
I'm ashamed to admit: I find it kinda funny. There's this Korean game show where the contestants have to learn a song. If they get it wrong some pots fall from the ceiling and hit them on the head. That's kinda funny too. I'm so evil. :)

2. The dubbed narration is hilarious.
Yeah, a little immature, but still funny.

5. The word is "silly."
Everybody needs a little silliness in their lives. That's why people love to watch Japanese game shows. Unlike American "reality" TV, MXC is harmless and good clean fun, although I bet their laundry bills are out of this world.

When my son was younger, we used to watch Family Double Dare a lot. Same thing.

"Right you are, Ken"

"A tiwsty mcfisty, into a nuaghty nurse!"

"A face full of sludge"

I only discovered it a few months ago, but it's quickly become one of my favorite shows

6. Why are Japanese game shows so fucked up?
I imagine the rest of the world asks the same question after watching Fear Factor or The Apprentice.

Only in a Bush economy would a show about being fired rocket to the top of the ratings.

8. What's fucked up about it?
Looks like a cross between Beat the Clock and Let's Make a Deal to me.
