Just Finish a Database Graduate course and handed in my paper online
Edited on Sat Sep-25-04 01:15 AM by 28erl
just about an hour ago. Right at the deadline. Not my best work. Couldn't get my mind wrapped around it all. Just hoping I pass. I pay for these myself and they are expensive.

I did the extra credit and I know when my students do extra credit I know they care about their grade

So I should know in a couple of weeks and sometimes in a few days what the final grade was.

This instructor is going for his third PHD, so I am sure he is tied up finishing his course(s) this semester.

I am going to skip a quarter and try catch up on other things. And I have a CIW certification course in ecommerce to finish in three weeks.

I am a procrasinator. I have to get better. I need help to get better.
I hate going to classes because I get bored listening. My mind does not function on audio. But studying on your own is hard because there is no one to ask. Yet I have taken courses where I go to class and there is no one to ask. The instructors are not available after class because most of them are adjunct and making very little - just like me

Well thanks for listening, I just needed to talk a little

4. it is just a paper on a database - we had to do a paper showing the
requirements, purpose, entity relationship diagrams, and some sql select statements, and the database.

I tried doing it on my photography which needs to be put into a database but realized my design was still off. So I just did the best I could to meet the requirements with what I had. I didn't grasp this totally. Or I wanted to do something a lot more complex.

I always feel like I am missing pieces. Everyone else who says they have no background seems to grasp and do a great design and build. Makes me wonder what I am missing or if it is just too hard. But I also got bored reading the books. Didn't get as involved as I do else where.

So it is not my best work but done. I just keep telling myself as I procrasinated all week - I had to hand something in. I had to finish. Not finishing is not an option.

I do this every quarter. I have to push myself to finish. I have this other voice saying - I don't get it, you aren't smart enough - this is too hard - then I put something together and get it in. This time though I don't think I met all the requirements

I really would like to know how to do it better. But can't stand a classroom. So as I keep moving on to the next thing - it will eventually all come together - but I am a perfectionist -

And I did finish and I did turn something in.

so it is a listing of my negatives with titles and my numbering system that I have used manually. I want to do so much more. There must be a way I can get this and truly develop a decent database. Just time consuming to enter over 1200 negatives and then go through and see what I have on hand and I would like to see what I have sold since I was selling pictures and framed work

I still have some work in the State house in Hartford connecticut

5. data entry will make any database project boring
if I have to enter data it's all over. I would rather get a root canal. My favorite: clients print out their digital data then *fax* it to me so it has to be entered again...
