Shaun of the Dead: a Modest Review
OH MY GOD!

Seriously one of the funniest movies I've seen in a very long time. It would shock you by showing you something horribly disturbing but juxtaposing it against something silly.

Very good movie, highly recommended to all DU horror (or comedy) fans.

4. I thought the movie dragged..
..when they went into the serious hardcore survival horror stuff, but still much better fare than most of Hollywood's mass-produced pablum.

5. Then you must see Peter Jackson's debut!
Bad Taste.

Funny as hell, the DVD is one of my most treasured. Don't know if it matters, but I couldn't care less about LOTR.

Plan to see SOTD myself.

7. Saw the film about a month ago.
Truly a delight, especially if you're a fan of British humor.

12. so its not totally dumbass
I am a movie snob sometimes and I am never sure what I will like. i loved house of 1000 corpses, 21 days later and the remake of texas chainsaw massacre when others didn't....and then some shit others love I didn't. alot depends on my mood i think.

13. well...
i liked 28 days later, didn't see the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and thought that House of 1000 Corpses had its finer points. But Shaun is funny in a very witty and smart way that appealed to me, so hopefully you'll enjoy it too.
