Tucson DU'ers you will love this Sweeney's visit to our Young Dem Tent

Yesterday at around 4 pm, Sweeney the Republican running against Grijalva stopped by our tent. We didn't really recognize him because he was wearing a straw hat and sunglasses but it was definitely him.

This is the kicker. He actually tells us what a great job we're doing and how important we are.

Then he hands us some of his hate literature. The word "wetback" is actually written on his card that shows his platform. It's in the context of something like we can't tolerate these "wetback" policies anymore.

If we hadn't been in so much shock as to what a nut this guy could be given his platform and the fact that he walked up to the Democratic tent and praised us and handed us his crap we may have asked him to stay and debate.
