1. In my neck of the woods
The Pokes are Oklahoma State.

Congrats! They beat us in the Cotton Bowl last year. How do they look without Eli?

2. Just a prediction, game should start in 8 mins.
We're the original Pokes, BTW. Look very beatable w/o Eli, plus it's at home @ 7,220 feet above sea level. UW, the "highest" University in America.

4. Bring it on
;)

Last time we played you guys, you destroyed us. And let's not even talk about the '88 Holiday Bowl, when Barry Sanders torched us for 400 yards. Do you go to school @ OSU?

5. Oh, let's
do talk about that '88 game! That was a fun one to watch--from my end :).

I teach here, have season tickets. We're looking like we might be on the right track finally. How about you guys?

6. Well, after enduring
the four worst years of 112 years of storied football tradition, we look like we're getting it back on track. We've got a helluva coach in his second season, Joe Glenn, but I think we're still a year away from competing for the conference title. BTW, only BYU (yuck) has more conference titles than us. I, too, have season tickets, but alas, cannot attend today as I'm working out in the field. I gotta try to get the game on broadband, I'll be a couple of minutes.

7. We have an idle week
and it stinks! I need my Pokes fix! At least you don't have to live in the same state as the almighty gooners!

Our coach, Les Miles, is in his 4th year and he has really turned things around for us. We have half our stadium renovated, two bowls back to back, have gotten several monkeys off our back (OU-twice, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Nebraska, etc.) It's a fun time to be a Cowboy - in Oklahoma or Wyoming!

8. Here we go wyo here we go!!
He always sings ragtime music to the cattle
As he sways back and forwards in the saddle
On a horse (pretty good horse!)
He's got a syncopated gaiter
And you ought to hear the meter
To the roar of his repeater
As they run (yes run!)
When they hear him coming
Cause the western folks all know
He's a high falutin rootin tootin
Son of a gun from ol Wyoming
Talk about your cowboy
Ragtime cowboy Joe!
C!
O!
W!
B!
O!
Y!
s!
COWBOYS!
COWBOYS!
COWBOYS!

14. Nope
Unless the NCAA approves a 12th game, we're full. With TCU coming into the MWC next year, that's 8 conference games, and we have games scheduled against Virginia, Florida, Louisiana-Monroe, and Utah State, we already have to drop one.

16. We're probably playing Minnesota next year anyway.
I know that we're playing you in basketball in 2005.

We're having scheduling problems. It's the life of a team in its second year in transition to Division I.

19. We'll be RPI-eligible next year.
North Dakota State is only RPI-eligible in volleyball and soccer currently.

Wyoming Poke, from an OSU Poke! Our paper had a nice little article about the game. Sorry you couldn't be there, sounds like it was a great game.
