I hate bye weeks.
My team is off this week. It sucks not seeing them play on TV or in person. I wish they abolished the bye week in college and pro football. They're unnecessary.

Sigh...

1. It's an extra week of commercial revenues for the stations.
That's the only reason to have them.

2. Actually, they are a good thing.
The sport is played at such a high level now that the players need time to nurse injuries and rest sore muscles. Of course, the real reason for the bye week is to have another week of tv revenue for the league...
