Ok, so he's a pretty bad conservative and I think he'll be an official Democrat before too long, but he's got some cool things to say. He's one of the smartest people I know, but I think he should quit physics and just open a BMW/Audi dealership. If God puts us on earth for a reason, his is to run a German car dealership.
Anyway, here's what he says:
Him: Mrs. Kerry actually stopped by the university yesterday. not sure what she said.
Me: That's good. Colorado is going to be close.
Him: Alot less closer from my perspective.
Me: What do you mean? I guess Ft. Collins is pretty conservative.
Him: Not so. I've seen man pro-kerry posters around the entire state.
Me: So did I. Did you drive through downtown Colorado Springs? It was a Kerry/Salazar love-fest.
Him: I'll let the chips fall were they will, I think much of colorado is unhappy with the last 4 years.
Me: Well, that's bad news for Bush.
Him: good news for progress (that one floored me!)
Me: Incidentally, you should also vote for Salazar, because he's a friend of small business.
Him: And not for Coors, for he is a friend of the beer industry. I can't stand people who get bored in the CEO positions and run for office.
Man, this guy's one of the good ones. Which of course means he won't be a Republican for long.
On edit:
Talking about the dismal state of the Repubs in Illinois:
Me: So yeah... your candidate is a pervert, so to replace him you drag in someone from another state who was a laughingstock to begin with.
Him: Foolproof!
I love this guy.
