Siberian boy raised by a dog
A seven-year-old boy who has been brought up by a dog for the past six years has reportedly been found in Siberia.

Police in the Altai autonomous region were on a routine patrol in the woods when they spotted the boy in front of an abandoned house with the elderly dog.

<snip>

Officers initially thought he was three, but hospital examinations subsequently put him at seven, and police say all the evidence points to him having been left for six years.

A spokesman said: "He was running about on all fours and growling. They thought he was playing at first but the house is miles from anywhere and is little more than a ruin, and he was really dirty and naked, so they realised something was wrong.

"When they approached he growled and snarled and tried to bite them when they tried to pull him away from the old dog."

1. How do you respond to that? I guess I should just love dogs even
more because they have more quality than his parents.

4. What about the poor dog?
That dog is a hero, it should at least be taken care of.

What are the chances the boy will ever live a normal life? Have there been cases like this one before?

5. I love dogs but I ain't buying this.
They found him miles from anywhere in the Siberian woods but somehow can deduce he's been raised by the dog for six years?

7. This is so sad.
The child will probably never be "normal" if he hasn't heard human language by now; he won't be able to ever process it correctly.
