Trev Alberts was talking about how he's changed his mind over the last 3-4 weeks on non-BCS spoiler teams, then the smarmy lead anchor said "Who are you, John Kerry??"

I flipped the switch right after that. I CANNOT STAND having my sports coverage tainted with right-wing political talking points, DAMMIT!!! I just want to watch football!!!

I gotta find out the name of this SOB and e-mail ESPN on this.

1. Well they all do that.
It is like you have to be a republican to like football.

5. I was on ESPN chat at the time
and That Donnan character was running the Irish down, and then half way through the second half he was back tracking and stumbling trying to explain why the Irish were doing so well. It was awesome. and then they said the same thing when they played MS. and had to eat crow again. Now they are saying they knew all along the Irish were going to turn around and start winning...

Hypocrits.

6. yeah. pre game i basically have it on mute
these guys are too much. it really is almost like the political talk shows in that they spend such an unbelievable amount of time talking but not getting much of substance in. and based on what keith olbermann said, it sounds like espn is wall to wall republicans, as if we couldnt tell...

glad to see a fellow nd fan here.

10. I always root against N.D., but it's worth having them win just to stick
it in the craw of these bozos for making that crack about Kerry.

7. Trev Albert blows too......
Saying the Utes win wasn't convincing enough because they didn't blow out Air Force. Utah dominated the second half of that game.

8. I remember watching one of the ESPN shows
just before the '00 election. There's something about the Redskins game just before the Presidential election that gives an indication of how the election will go. Mark Malone and Kevin Greene were on talking about this and were getting all excited about the 'Skins game meaning that chimpy would win. They were really getting into it.

I have to wonder what would've happened if sportscasters were to show such partisanship towards a Dem?

11. You're not only one who has run into this
The SOB who hosts the Hot List on espn news made some snide comment during an interview he was doing about how liberals can't defend themselves earlier this week. I forget his name but I'm going to find out.
