Poll question: prefer facial hair or no
Edited on Sun Sep-26-04 01:34 AM by JohnKleeb
Wondering. I really think I like being clean shaved better, though perhaps some fuzz and concealing my braces would enable to get away with it, not only do I think I look better clean shaved but it feels better too. Oh and another thing, you guys who can't grow it are pretty luck actually, you don't risk cutting you ears.

1. Hehe..
I really, really like guys with a 5-o'clock shadow. The best example of my favorite is on Survivor; I think his name is Brady. Damn, that's hot.

But don't tell my partner. He can't grow a beard; it grows in patches, lol..

17. I never got the five o'clock shadow thing
That's so "Miami Vice." To me, this just looks like a guy who forgot to shave.

2. Personally, I like facial hair on men instead of women.
I know it's a cultural thing though.

3. I wish I could grow a beard, but I can't
As a straight guy I think guys look better with long hair and a beard. But I prefer to have a buzz cut and to shave the little facial hair that I have just because I look better that way in my own view.

7. I'd like to
have facial hair but all I usually have are long sideburns. I hate shaving, though, so I usually have a few days of growth overall. I could grow a goatee but I don't think those look very good on me, and I can't grow a full beard because it's too patchy. In general, I think facial hair looks cool, though, and have wanted to have it since I was a little kid. I'm twenty-one, so I might still have a chance for mine to fill out but I doubt it. One of the great mysteries of life: why men who want to have facial hair can't grow it and men who don't want to have facial hair can...

8. I hate shaving.
But then I hate the feeling of NOT shaving, so it's a damn perpetual struggle with my facial hair.

Personally, I wish it could just stay at a constant five o'clock shadow. It's not bothersome at that point and I don't have to shave.

9. It depends on the guy
Some guys can pull off a beard or mustache, while others just shouldn't try. I like a mustache on the right guy, but totally hate goatees. Who ever came up with that one?!::crazy:

10. I like to be clean-shaven BUT...
I'm too pudgy, and my face and neck will blend together if I don't keep a goatee for some definition...

OK, this pic doesn't flatter my beard, which is closely cropped, but you've also seen other pics here.

14. Other
If I'm going to be kissing you, clean shaven

If I just have to look at you, beards and 'staches are cool

15. Smooth faced
I've had a couple beards. My women friends prefer me without it. So that's the way I've gone. An advantage to without is that I can blow dust out of my specs. Otherwise, the mo gets in the way. But I do wear longer hair. The Tarzan mop suits me and a great deterent for shallow, gold digging women who might fancy me.

16. As a woman
I almost always prefer men who are clean shaven. A neat mustache is okay but I'm not real into beards.

18. If they're hairy enough to shave...
I'd prefer my women to wax. That's just me, though.

19. I keep my goatee neatly trimmed, and my wife likes it, but...
When we do a bit of smooching, she gets a red face from my scratchy beard.

Sometimes I wonder why I keep the damn thing!

20. Other: doesn't matter
Depends on how he looks with/without and what he's comfortable with. I've spent more time with bearded men, but I don't have a preference either way. I like smart funny men in any kind of package. :)
