Favorite childhood reads, took them out of the library many, many times.

Does anyone else remember the adventures of Betsy, Tacy and Tibb?

1. I read "Betsy Was a Junior" when I was a little girl
I remember really liking it. From looking at the reviews on amazon.com, looks like girls are still reading them today. :hi:

2. I've got a friend whose nuts about them....
Has an annual party for local fellow devotees, has a B-T license plate
frame, etc.

I never read them, tho I was an avid reader as a child.

4. Yes, of course!
And I've gotten them all for my 7 year old daughter. Great books! Do you remember Lois Lenski books (Shoe-fly Girl, Strawberry Girl, Judy's Journey, Cotton in My sack) about sharecroppers, dirt farmers and other poor kids. Those were some of my favorites, too.
