Should I be worried...I'm out of it?

Neighborhood Association (yes I live in one of those) is having huge "Tent Party" with DJ who's playing hits from the past. On my porch I hear "Let's Twist Again" (Chubby Checker) while I'm in my house listening to the "Thistle and Shamrock" of Celtic Protest Songs on NPR!

I refused to attend my "Neighborhood Association Pig Picking with Music from the Decades" to stay home, listen to S&T while posting on DU.

My Neighborhood Association is REPUG...I opted out years ago...but I feel sad that unless I fork out $25.00 for my one "Pig Pickin' with DJ per year" I will be left out of their annual fights against "Affordable Housing" across the road where I live in NC. :shrug:

I guess I haven't found the "crowd I fit in with yet...but listening to Irish/Scottish Protest Music says I belong with them...as much as I LOVE Chubby Checker..getting "down" with Repugs makes me feel sick.
