Well, after a nice weekend that made me feel normal....
Cause my Sister, Brother in Law, and Mom came to the cabin to visit. I'M BACK IN THIS FUCKING TOWN. I had such a good weekend, we chopped some wood, it was sunny and crisp, then went into Penticton to check out some things. Got back to the cabin and made dinner. This morning, I woke up, made breakfast, we did some more chores. Then they left, I began to feel like shit again, and I eventually made my way back here. FUCK THIS TOWN.

I don't care what anyone says, I'm not gonna stop bitching - deal with it.

14. Careful there Kleeb. They can ruin you!
They can get pregnant and have razor sharp teeth hidden in their crotches that'll bite your pecker off. You're playing with fire.

Seriously though man, you ARE on the right track. Have some fun, fool around, don't be too obnoxious...you'll have a good time - wait until college when you'll do stuff like that all the time.

30. Nay. College is not a time for experimentation, unless by....
experimentation one means trying your hand at different varieties of hard work.

College is a place to be studious and to forge yourself into a strong and mighty scholar. Those who tarry on the path to greatness will be destroyed. Only through massive efforts will your educational salvation be gained.

Cast out the scorner, shun the harlot, avoid the sluggard. Life is a serious undertaking, not to be risked by keeping bad company.

Even then, I've decided I'm not moving to any other towns besides Vancouver, or maybe Moncton New Brunswick.

Moncotn would be killer moving expenses though

9. You only get out of life
what you put into it.

Join some groups in your town, get involved, they all have families....and daughters. You could have a lot of fun.

Sitting around by yourself having a pity-party every weekend won't get you anywhere.

13. You're right
Thing is though, this town is VERY old. All the young people are gone, those that stayed are criminals. I cover some community groups, there are only about five. The others all folded due to lack of interest, this town has a real bad participation rate, I covered a post secondary information meeting the other night - out of the 4,500 people in this town with a depressed economy - two showed.

What I really need to do is get out. Imagine being 25 and living in say........ Scotland, Ont.

That's basically where I'm at.

I'm just gonna keep job hunting.

I know I'm whining and being baby, but forget it. I've spent too many years in little town I dislike already. Time for some me time.

23. Join the Legion
Join Rotary...join something...but get involved.

Stop thinking about yourself...you'll be far better off.

There are people your age around...who aren't criminals...but you won't find them sitting around moaning.

6. Have you learned nothing from your cabin in the woods experience?
As Thoreau wrote during his long cabin dwelling period, "Love your life, poor as it is."

He also said "Send JVS that Gmail invite that you talked about"

31. Penticton! Nice little town! We spent a week visiting with
relatives in a camper park that was SO CLEAN you could eat off the bathroom floors. The owner even raked the gravel in the camper parking spaces. Amazing. My relatives go there every year. Sorry, can't remember the name.
