Sherlock Holmes, Movie help please.
What's the name of the Sherlock Holmes movie, possibly made for TV, where he somehow ends up in modern times ? Seems like there is a chemicla staysis apparatus found in a lab somewhere along the way and there is a scene where they go to his old address on Bakers street and it's a bank now. The side kick seems like a female. The closest so seems like "The Return of the World's Greatest Detective" with Larry Hagman , but that's not in London, anyway , any help ????

4. I thought of that, too
But that's HG Wells, not Sherlock Holmes.

5. I can't remember the name of it.
But I know what you're talking about. Dr Watson's American granddaughter or great-granddaughter finds his journals, and he had apparently cryonically frozen Holmes after Holmes was deliberately infected with bubonic plague by Professor Moriarty. I THINK the title was something like "The Return of Sherlock Holmes".

Could it have been the one where at the end, Holmes sets up the bad guys by planting his own cocaine stash on them? (It's in dissolved form, in glass containers ...) I think this is the one.

Plot Summary for
Sherlock Holmes Returns (1993) (TV)
Sherlock Holmes (Anthony Higgins) is awakened in modern times with a tale that he had invented a method of suspended animation that he had utilized on himself. Awakened he is joined by a new group of Baker Street Irregulars led by Zapper. His battles lead him to the evil Moriarty clan led by James Moriarty Booth who lives at 1994 Baker Street in San Francisco.

I found a few other modern-day Holmes movies, but they all involved people who thought they were Holmes (e.g. George C. Scott) or sleuths who were descended from him.
