2. Love Acid Jazz
Favorites are Mark Farina and DJ Smash... "Electro lounge" is probably cool too... don't know who exactly is classified as an "Electro Lounge" DJ.

7. That's actually the one song by them that I hate.
Partly because I love Joe Jackson's original, and partly because the singing is so FLAT.

Their extended cover of "There Must Be an Angel" (Eurythmics) surpasses the original, though.

10. The ones I have are
In order of purchase:

Luxury
Self-titled
Beautiful

The first two are must-haves, the third's not bad, but more disco-ey, i.e. 1970s.

Also, though I'm sure you're aware of these artists, check out Arling and Cameron's "All In," Dimitri from Paris's "Sacre Bleu," and Tataka Minekawa's "Fun9".

I like literally all genres, but let me know if you know of anything else in this vein. The less obscure, the better, since I live in smaller city and only get to Vancouver a couple of times a year.

13. I'm not sure what electro-lounge is
Do you mean stuff like Ursula1000 or Air? I like them, have several cds...
I have and like John Zorn's cd "The Gift", does that fit in?
Also some Indian and Middle Eastern techno cds, I don't have them handy at the moment so I can't give you the titles (sorry, but I know one features the Pipes of Jajouka).
I posted about a cd I recently found called "The Blair Witch and the Bush of Ghost Project" by Toshio Nakanishi and Kensuke Shiina that is excellent! Toshio used to be in the Japanese band the Plastics, sort of their conterpart to the B-52s...
I also recently got the Pink Panther Penthouse Party cd, which is also excellent, in my opinion...
