3. How come she has a newborn AND
is pregnant?

Years of re-education on the course of human biology will be required to get young girls to better understand that its hard to be 7 mos pregnant with a 2 week old...

Who is the father?

Is it true what they say about Ken?

Could this be "G.I. Joe's" love child?

12. They have a whole series of happy family dolls
Midge has a husband(either Ken or Alan), sold separately.
There are also grandparents and an aunt.

I have some Barbies that I bring to my sister's house sometimes to play with her daughters. I also have some Kens at home. My niece always asks me where the Ken dolls are (I'm usually visiting them in Holland or Traverse City, MI) and I tell her that "Ken and Alan went antiquing in Saugatuk".

14. My daughter has the family set.
Alan is the husband and Ryan is the big brother.

I remember when the pregnant Midge doll came out, WalMart wouldn't carry them. There was quite a fuss about it all. WalMart sells toy guns, shoot-em-up games, monsters, etc., but won't carry a doll portraying a natural biological event. Go figure!

31. No, there were always two different guy dolls-Ken and Alan
I don't know if that's still the situation. I just didn't know which one was part of the happy family set, as the mommy isn't Barbie, it's Midge.

13. ROFL my freeper brother refused to get this for my niece
he said it was immoral. I asked, how is pregnancy immoral? I've been pregnant once, his wife has been pregnant three times. . . He had no further comment - just "it's immoral" and "it's wrong."

I think it's hilarious that freepers can get worked up over a freaking barbie doll. LOL. Or pregnancy. I still don't know what's immoral over a barbie doll being pregnant. The thought that the barbie doll had sex? LOL. Has anyone ever seen Barbie's wardrobe? My niece has enough skanky barbie clothes to make more than one Barbie Whore.

36. What a doobie
Pregnancy is immoral? Isn't that the exact opposite of the crap fundies are usually trying to peddle -- that procreating and serving your family is the ONLY moral option for a woman?

20. Spare me, do Midge's thighs rub together?
I didn't think so. I'm pregnant and I bet I could out-fart, out-burp and out-eat Midge any day. Isn't she sweet in her little heels? I tried wearing a small heeled sandal yesterday and I literally fell forward. I challenge Midge to pie eating contest.

Midge, bite me.
