It's normal to have these feelings after you've suffered a loss. There ain't no law (yet) that says you can't grieve for a roof or a home. Loss is loss. Good heavens! You should have seen me after 9/11. I was a freakin' basket case. My office decided to open on 9/12, which is also a colleague's birthday. There I was, tears running down my face, wandering around a deserted Broadway looking for an open Hallmark. I found these tips helpful especially the exercise, socialize and eat right ones:

were close to the point it would be cheaper to dear down and replace the whole house ($135-155,000 estimated damage)
