I am a firm believer in the power of shoes. Shoes are a vital part of psychological well-being.

Last night while surfing for new shoes to replace my current ones, I come across a pair that made me pray for the bludgeoning of their designer:



Could someone please explain these to me. As if the Bozo shoestrings weren't enough, there is some sort of freaky velcro thing happening.

I challenge any twisted soul to find an uglier pair of shoes. If you can, please post em here.

If any DUers own the aforementioned shoes, I send my condolences.

I bought a pair of patent leather mary jane Earth Shoes. WTF was I thinking? Not helped by the fact that I have gi-normous feet. They look like big ole patent leather duck feet. Expensive, too. They are going back. I swear.

one reason i am pretty sure, is that the guy taking pictures of the body worked at the same movie theater Julia Sweeney worked at and left to work in the movies. He was some crew on that movie and did that part because they needed someone to do it. last i heard he was an assistant spider wrangler in arachniphobia.
