The Red Sox are winning!
And it looks like the Yankees are not playing tonight. Looks like we'll pick up half a game on them tonight.

Oh yeah, and if we do end up winning tonight, we've clinched a playoff spot.

1. Braves Fan (Born In Baltmore) Pulling For the Red Sox
I haven't lived there since 1957, but hating the Yankees is taught early and lasts a lifetime to those born in the Eastern Division cities.

3. !!! WOOOOOOOhoo !!!

they'll end up playing the Spanks again (I hope) and THIS TIME Pedro better not ask to stay in!

Playing the Yanks in the off season was the single biggest reason why the Sox got Schilling,

4. I'm a Yankee fan, but it's not inconceivable that . . .
the Red Sox could still take the division . . . with the Yankee starting pitching in the doldrums, it's entirely possible that they could drop three to Minnesota . . . and even if they win the final three against Toronto, the Sox would still have to lose one for the Yanks to clinch . . . and I think it's also possible that the Sox could win all of their last six, leaving the Bombers as the wild card . . . not probable, but entirely possible, imo . . .

and if the Yanks don't make it to the Series, I'll be rooting for the Sox . . . unlike many Yankee fans, I'm not a Bosox hater . . . I lived up there for 15 years, and have many friends who deserve to see them win it all at least once . . .
