I made peace with a Red Sox Fan today (Good story for Yank and Sox fans)

Well for about a year now there is this guy who is a Sox fan and I'm a hardcore Yank fan and so we've been kind of at eachother's throats all this time, untill one day him and his pal approached our Young Democrats tent last week and lit up all of a sudden with "Wow you're a Democrat?? damn never woulda guessed! (I'm fairly known for my hobby of firearms I even have a necklace with a .223 bullet)

I said yea! I am! and he needed to register so I hooked him up and stuff.

Today I walked into class and I had two Kerry stickers just for the Sox guy and his buddy.

I gave them to him and the Sox guy was very pleased and I told him "Look man this year I don't give a shit about the rivalry I want Kerry elected THAT'S THE ONLY CONTEST THIS YEAR THAT MATTERS, even if it meant the Sox having to win the world series to rev Kerry up to deliver a death blow to Bush I would happily accept that"

We wound up shaking hands and overall we're buds now.

Unfortunately I won't be seeing him much now since I am just going to the UofA to table and stuff (I finished my degree last summer and am now just waiting for job apps to go through)

Anyways guys the message is here nothing matters, not sports rivalry not backgrounds, nothing what matters is getting Kerry elected.

We all have to come together for this very important goal. I don't care if you're a commie or a socialist or a green, or a lover of free trade, or a die hard Sox fan, right now you are my friend if you believe in electing Kerry to the office of the presidency.
