Funniest comment on George Lucas I've seen so far.
For those tearing their eyeballs out on the revisions in Lucas' DVD set of the Star Wars movies, here's the funniest dig at Lucas I've seen so far.

1. funny
The changes he made in '97 didn't bother me all that much but as tolerant as I am, but putting f**** Hayden Christenson (don't give a shit about his name) at the end of ROTJ was too much for me.

2. I agree.
The 97 changes aren't anything i'm going to go nuts over. I was pissed off to see Hayden Christenson in Jedi. I wish he would have put the originals on the DVDs too.

4. Agreed
1. Greedo shooting first.

2. Jabba in Episode IV.

3. Hayden in ROTJ.

Three strikes and your're out, George.

What is sad yet brilliant at the same time is that Lucas was able to string the fanbase along for such a long time so that when they finally get their prized DVD release they don't care how screwed-with the movies are.

3. Thought you were talking about his looks...
Lucas reminds me of Trump...the guy has zillions and the worst hair in the world...ditto to Lucas; what's the story with that flabby sack under your chin? George, you got the bread; it's Dr 90210 time...

5. What I don't understand...
is why he put in Hayden in ROTJ but left in Alec Guinness instead of putting in Ewan. Makes no sense. Why would one appear younger than when he died but not the other?

George Lucas is a tool. *sigh*

6. Lucas's offical reason:
He said that Anakin Skywalker ceased to exist when he was burned and turned into Vader, so when Vader turned good and redeemed himself, his spirit was in the form he was before he turned evil.

Obi-Wan lived his whole life on the good side and therefore his spirt appeared in its last "good" form too, old man Obi.

Yeah, its stupid. Yet some folks still defend the non stop tinkering with these classic movies.

I don't even come at it from a Star Wars geek stance, I come at it as a movie buff stance just like when Ted Turner wanted to colorize all black and white movies.

7. Don't give him any ideas!
Lucas will try to recall all the DVDs to put Ewan in!
